AI study companion that turns Philippine law books into case digests, flashcards, and mock recitations.
Law students face thousands of pages of casebooks and codals. Digesting cases, memorizing doctrines, and preparing for recitation eats entire evenings — and cramming it all by hand doesn't leave much room for actually understanding the law.
I built Project Juris for a law student close to me. It takes the law books a student already has — as PDFs — and turns them into study material: structured case digests in the IRAC format professors expect, flashcards scheduled with spaced repetition so review time goes where memory is weakest, and a study chatbot that answers strictly from the uploaded sources.
The centerpiece is a recitation simulator: an AI professor that picks a doctrine from the material, questions the student the way a law professor would, then grades the answer with specific feedback — including support for spoken answers, like real recitation.
Because legal accuracy is non-negotiable, the AI is locked to Philippine law and hard-constrained against inventing cases or citations — when it can't verify something from the source text, it says so instead of guessing.
Turns a stack of PDFs into an interactive reviewer — digest writing that took hours now takes minutes, and recitation practice no longer needs a study partner.
